The Escape door can be pushed open in the exit direction in an emergency.
The maximum force that must be applied is 100N. This limit is based on the DIN EN 1125 standard. When the Escape door is pushed open, a piezo alarm sounds to alert staff. In addition, the Escape door signals the panic opening to the turnstile located next to it. The turnstile automatically moves its 2 arms in the direction of escape under the turnstile housing, thus providing an additional escape route opening completely free of obstacles and thus an additional opening width of the Escape door that can be used for unhindered evacuation. In the event of a power failure, the Escape door continues to fulfil its function.
