For years, Gotschlich has based itself on renewable energy and stands for environmentally responsible energy efficiency in operational processes and for environmental awareness at all levels. True to the motto A turn to security. Eco-friendly.
Since 2004, all administrative and production facilities have been warmed by the wood processing plant of the Strasbourg 1 plant.
Since 2016 the plant 2 in Strasbourg (warehouse) has also been equipped with a wood chip heating system.
In 2016, Gotschlich built a plant at the facility in Strasbourg (Carinthia) a photovoltaic system (35 KW), which covers most of the energy consumption of the entire production site. Furthermore, the hot water is produced by solar panels during the summer. This plant will be enlarged to 70 KW in the summer of 2017. Also in Vienna there is a 140 KW

A further contribution to environmental protection and a better future is the refrigeration equipment with groundwater at the company headquarters Vienna. For irrigation and for the rinsing water in the sanitary facilities, drinking water is not used, but rather rainwater.
