GOTSCHLICH sponsored Champions

The "Union Tennis Club (UTC) Hohe Brücke-Gotschlich Strassburg", sponsored by Gotschlich, has won the Carinthian championship for the fourth time.

Gotschlich, one of the most important employers in the Carinthian Gurktal valley since the opening of its Strassburg plant, is a primary sponsor of the local tennis club. The relationship with the club is so strong that Andreas Wotke was elected chairman.

The UTC Hohe Brücke-Gotschlich Strassburg has several teams in different leagues and does valuable work bringing area residents to sports. The top team in the club plays in the Carinthia State League, where it won the championship for the fourth time this year.

This success was made possible by the strong commitment of top-flight players. Such achievements represent an enormous effort for the club, which can only be undertaken due to the financial support of the main sponsors Hohe Brücke and Gotschlich.

The promotion matches to advance to the national league are currently taking place. Team captain Georg Pirkebner (photo), a native Strassburger, is confident that, thanks to its sponsors, the team is well prepared to meet this challenge as well.
